3D AREOLA
What is an AREOLA?
The areola is a deep, circular area of skin pigmentation around the nipple. The colour and size of the areola vary from person to person. The areola is anatomically about 3 to 6 cm in diameter, or it is possible to see 10 to 12 cm. Some varied reasons, such as cancer, burns, and mastectomy, can cause partial or complete discolouration in the area of the nipple. Especially after cancer operations, the nipple is formed again by surgical operations. Later on, the techniques of permanent make-up set to work. This process is known as areola micro pigmentation, nipple medical pigmentation, or nipple colouring.
WHAT IS AREOLA MICROPIGMENTATION?
Nipple medical pigmentation is a permanent make-up application that requires special training and experience. It is possible to fix discolouration and colour inequality in the Areola area with permanent make-up application. At this stage of the permanent make-up procedure, organic pigments are implanted into the skin. The natural nipple and areola colours are provided at the end of the application.
HOW IS AREOLA PIGMENTATION CARRIED OUT?
Before nipple medical pigmentation, the area on which the nipple and rings will be drawn is decided, and the draft is prepared. When the size is decided, organic pigment choice is done naturally to the skin. These organic pigments are produced for only medical applications, and specially produced pigments do not cause any allergic reactions. After that stage, a sterile and disposable niddle that is convenient for the skin type is chosen. After all these procedures, local anaesthesia is applied to the target area, and the colouring process is started.
On the top of and around the nipple, shadows are done to create a depthy appearance. On the head nipple, white and red colours are used to form lactiferous ducts. The nipple, which is close to the real and unnoticeable easily, is formed at the end. People who say the application is less painful than the ordinary tattooing process have a high rate. The nipple, which is a normally sensitive area, can persist after the application. Nipple tattooing is applied by a special technique depending on ageing and epidermal loss. Finally, one or two sessions can be enough if you take good care of them. After the application, although tattooing lasts for years, discolouration of the area can occur even because of cloth friction over time. It is an ordinary situation.
The areola pigmentation session takes 30–60 minutes and has a life span of 2–3 years. 2-3 years after the application, retouching is suggested. Application on a breast takes an hour on average, and 2 nipples take a maximum of 2 hours.
The application of Areola micropigmentation to cancer survival requires the treatment of cancer to be completed. If the patient has an implant, at least 6 months must pass after the breast operation.
The procedure after the areola pigmentation application is guided by the expert. Moreover, 48 hours before the colouring application, with the permission of your doctor, using blood thinners and painkillers, which consist of blood thinners, must be stopped.
WHY AREOLA MICROPIGMENTATION?
We use areola micro-pigmentation to fix the appearance of the nipple, which has undergone breast operations. Some destructive situations can be seen in patients who have undergone surgery for a variety of reasons, like breast cancer, burns, and mastectomy. This application psychologically helps patients regain self-confidence and self-respect.
