SCAR TREATMENT
While other clinics prefer to camouflage scars using makeup or permanent makeup, we primarily focus on repairing the skin and skin functions when treating scars.
Our skin therapist assumes the body's ability to regenerate. A scar is seen as a wound that has not healed properly. During the treatment, the skin is treated both externally and internally, thus encouraging its self-restructuring.
Scars often have poor blood circulation, no longer contain pigment, and may be partially blistered or sticky. Techniques that can be used to treat the skin from the outside will soften adhesions and restore capillary blood flow, which will eventually cause the pigment to return. It is an 'active' treatment. Through the inclusion of active substances as well as radio frequency, or IPL, the body will be stimulated to carry out repair work. These healing activities can be supplemented with certain nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals, and proteins.Only in this way can the skin be optimally regenerated, and unsightly scars and stretch marks can become less visible or disappear altogether. Part of the treatment always includes personal nutritional recommendations and additional information about nutritional supplements that can speed up healing.
The treatment is suitable for scars caused by:
•Injuries
•Pimple
•Operations
• Burning (burns)
• Also for stretch marks
Each scar is, of course, different, and the method of treatment depends on the cause and degree of the affected skin. For effective treatment, it is important that the scar is not too recent. (at least 2 years old) The treatment will usually need to be repeated several times at intervals of several weeks each time.
Cracks are treated almost the same way.
